Job Summary: We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the Chemistry, Pharmaceutical and Environmental Directorate (QFA) in Sines, focusing on conducting physicochemical tests and optimizing analytical methods. Collaborating with the technical team and sharing knowledge We are seeking a **Laboratory Technician** to join the Chemistry, Pharmaceutical and Environmental Directorate (QFA) of the Institute of Welding and Quality (ISQ), in Sines. **Main Responsibilities:** * Performing physicochemical tests on various environmental matrices using advanced instrumental techniques; * Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements (ISO/IEC 17025); * Participating in the implementation, validation, and optimization of analytical methods; * Conducting quality control of tests to ensure reliability and consistency of results; * Processing, critically analyzing, and performing preliminary validation of analytical data; * Recording and managing information in laboratory information management systems (LIMS), ensuring traceability; * Handling, verifying, and performing basic maintenance of laboratory equipment; * Managing reagents, standards, and consumables, ensuring compliance and availability; * Identifying and reporting non-conformities and deviations, contributing to continuous improvement; * Adhering to good laboratory practices, safety protocols, and waste management procedures; * Supporting audits and the quality management system. * Collaborating with the technical team to promote operational efficiency and knowledge sharing **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or equivalent; * Strong organizational and planning skills; * Ability to work effectively in a team; * Good oral and written communication skills. **Work Location**: Sines If you are interested in this opportunity and meet the required qualifications, please submit your application via **APPLY NOW** or visit the **ISQ Opportunities** page.
