**We are recruiting a Finance Director to join the OTIIMA group in Laúndos, Póvoa de Varzim.**
**About the project:**
The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the company’s finance function, ensuring the economic and financial sustainability of the business, the quality of management information, the optimization of financial resources, and the robustness of control processes.
Key responsibilities include all banking relations, identification of financing solutions, financial management of domestic and international operations, and implementation of automation, digitalization, and business intelligence processes.

**If you join us, your main tasks and responsibilities will be:**
* Lead the Finance, Accounting, Tax, Administration, Management Control, and Procurement departments, ensuring an integrated and strategic business view;
* Ensure financial planning and control, including budgeting, forecasting, treasury, cash flow, and performance and variance analysis;
* Develop management reporting and financial and operational KPIs to support agile and well-founded decision-making by the Board;
* Manage financing strategy and relationships with banks and financial institutions, negotiating the most suitable financing solutions and instruments for the company’s needs;
* Ensure financial management of domestic and international operations, including foreign exchange risk, guarantees, credit, and instruments supporting international trade;
* Coordinate applications for and monitoring of national and European funding and support programs;
* Ensure high standards of internal control, auditing, compliance, taxation, and risk management;
* Drive digitalization, automation, and continuous improvement of financial processes;
* Support the Board in investment, expansion, CAPEX, efficiency, and strategic business development decisions;
* Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams, promoting a culture of rigor, collaboration, accountability, and results orientation.
**Ideal candidate profile:**
* Higher education degree in Economics, Management, Finance, or equivalent field;
* Proven experience as CFO/Finance Director in small/mid-cap companies, preferably in the industrial sector, with production, export, and/or international activity;
* Prior experience in audit/consulting at a leading firm (preferably Big4);
* Solid knowledge of financial management, treasury, management control, taxation, reporting, and performance analysis;
* Experience in financing and domestic/international financial operations, with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with banks, financial institutions, and other stakeholders;
* Knowledge of and experience with incentive programs, European funds, and public investment support programs;
* Experience in leading and developing multidisciplinary teams;
* Strong orientation toward digitalization and process automation;
* Ability to transform financial data into clear, objective, and decision-oriented executive reporting;
* Fluent English, both spoken and written.
