Our team is passionate about animals, and we focus on offering high-quality products and personalized service to our customers. We are looking for an Accountant to join our team and ensure rigorous and business-aligned accounting and tax management. **Responsibilities** ● Ensure monthly accounting processing in accordance with the Portuguese Accounting Standards (SNC) ● Prepare and submit tax and reporting obligations (VAT, Corporate Income Tax [IRC], Social Security Contributions [IES], withholding taxes, among others) ● Prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, and respective annexes) ● Perform bank reconciliations and current account analyses ● Process payroll and comply with Social Security obligations ● Ensure compliance with applicable legal and tax deadlines ● Produce periodic financial reporting and management indicators to support decision-making **Technical Skills** ● Higher education degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or related field ● Proven experience in general accounting (minimum 2\-3 years, preferred) ● Solid knowledge of the Portuguese Accounting Standards (SNC) and Portuguese tax legislation (CIRC, CIVA, CIRS) ● Proficiency in Excel for data analysis ● Certification as a Certified Accountant (CC) **Behavioral Skills** ● Rigor, organization, and attention to detail ● Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines ● Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team ● Proactivity and sense of responsibility ● Autonomy in resolving day-to-day problems **What We Offer** ● Integration into a growing company with a close and informal work environment ● Opportunity for professional growth and skill development ● Collaborative work environment with direct contact with management ● Remuneration commensurate with demonstrated experience **How to Apply** Send your CV to contabilidade@caovivio.pt, indicating "Accountant" in the subject line.
