Are you a professional with solid experience, strong leadership ability, and technical expertise in public works supervision? Then we want to meet you! **Key Responsibilities in this Role:** ---------------------------------------------- * Direction and supervision of **public contracts**, ensuring compliance with technical, legal, and contractual requirements * Contractual management in accordance with the **Public Contracts Code (PCC)** * Cost control, planning, and monitoring of works execution * Team coordination and liaison with the contracting authority, contractors, and external entities * Assurance of quality, safety, and compliance of executed works * Preparation and validation of technical reports and monitoring of all project phases **What We Expect from You:** -------------------------- * Degree in **Civil Engineering** or equivalent field, with qualifications required under **Law No. 31/2009 (as currently amended)** for the relevant works category * **Minimum 5 years’ experience** in public works supervision in Portugal * Solid knowledge of the **Public Contracts Code (PCC)** * Experience in **team coordination and leadership** *(preferred)* * Strong planning, organizational, and decision-making skills * Good written communication skills *(preferred)* * High sense of responsibility, autonomy, and results orientation * Availability for on-site work in **Ferreira do Alentejo** * Residence in the region *(preferred: Ferreira do Alentejo, Beja, Grândola, Ervidel, Castro Verde, Sines)* **Why Join Riportico Applus?** ----------------------------------------- Because you will assume a critical role in a **high-importance project (IP8)**, directly impacting the execution and compliance of a strategic public works project.
