Focus on continuous improvement Mapei Portugal, a global leader in developing solutions for the construction sector, is seeking an **Environmental and Safety Technician** to join its team, with a focus on implementing and monitoring best practices in an industrial setting. **Main Responsibilities:** * Support for Management Systems and Emergency Plans; * Investigation of accidents/incidents; * Promotion of awareness/training activities; * Management and control of PPE; * Management of subcontractors; * Support for occupational medicine; * Participation in audits; * Coordination with external entities; * Support in environmental management. **Required Profile:** * Higher education degree (preferably in Environmental Sciences); * Certification as a Level 6 Occupational Health and Safety Technician (mandatory); * Experience in OHS within an industrial environment (mandatory); * Training in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 (an advantage); * English language skills (preferred); * Strong organizational and teamwork abilities; * Dynamic, resilient profile with a field-oriented approach; * Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; * Proactivity, quick learning ability, and focus on continuous improvement.
