**Job Description:**a) Ensure coordination among the research and development activities of the DQEM\-MONIT project, promoting integration of scientific, technical, operational, and governance components in alignment with the objectives of the Marine Strategy Framework Directive;
b) Conduct actions related to management, monitoring, and restoration of nature in oceanic marine protected areas, contributing to the assessment of their ecological status, effectiveness of conservation measures, and achievement of marine ecosystem protection and recovery goals;
c) Implement citizen science initiatives engaging coastal communities, sea users, and the general public, reinforcing ocean literacy and active societal participation in marine environment monitoring, conservation, and restoration;
d) Establish and operationalize cooperation protocols with maritime sector stakeholders, including ports, marinas, local authorities, and other relevant entities, ensuring implementation of monitoring, environmental management, and marine habitat restoration measures;
e) Contribute to the interface between science and policymaking, supporting the formulation of recommendations and public policies related to the sea and environment, with a focus on achieving and maintaining the Good Environmental Status (GES) defined by the MSFD, including nature conservation and restoration measures;
f) Participation in national and international working group meetings related to the activities outlined in the project;
g) Preparation and submission of scientific articles, including project reports;
h) Availability to supervise master's students;
i) Availability to collaborate in preparing applications for national and international research projects.
