Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives **Description:** ---------------- IMAN Portugal is recruiting! **IMAN Portugal is currently recruiting a Packaging Operator** for a leading industrial client company. **Role:** * Ensure efficient operation of packaging lines, maintaining high standards of quality, food safety, occupational safety, and sustainability. **Main Responsibilities** * Operate and monitor packaging lines and auxiliary equipment * Ensure supply to the production line * Guarantee product quality and hygiene according to defined standards * Monitor critical control points (e.g., metal detectors) and perform corresponding records * Carry out cleaning and disinfection of machines and materials as per the hygiene plan * Perform minor adjustments, lubrication, and basic interventions on equipment * Diagnose and anticipate operational and quality issues * Minimize downtime and contribute to productive efficiency * Strictly comply with safety, quality, and environmental regulations * Prepare, package, and organize materials * Record and monitor production * Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives * Report any incidents that may compromise safety, quality, or the environment **Desired Profile** * Sense of responsibility, organization, and dedication * Punctuality and attendance * Team spirit and good communication skills * Dynamism and proactivity * Ability to work in a repetitive environment * Aptitude for identifying and solving problems **Requirements (Preferred)** * Experience in an industrial environment or similar roles (1–3 years) * Experience operating forklifts * Education at least up to 12th grade, preferably in technical-vocational fields (mechatronics, industrial maintenance, electricity, etc.) * Knowledge of hygiene, occupational safety, and continuous improvement * Basic English language skills **Schedule:** Rotating shifts: * 00:00 – 08:00 * 08:00 – 16:00 * 16:00 – 24:00 **Benefits:** * Free meals in the company cafeteria * Health insurance * Life insurance * Annual Attendance Bonus (equivalent to 8 working days) * Annual Operations Variable Bonus * School allowance * Employee Assistance Program * Contribution towards monthly public transport pass (up to €40) Apply now and join a solid company focused on quality, innovation, and employee development! \#IMANLISBOA Terms: All applications will be handled confidentially in accordance with the Data Protection Law.
