Promotion of urban biodiversity and landscape planning **Offer Code:**OE202605/0655 **Offer Type:**Open Competitive Procedure **Status:**Active **Organizational Level:**Municipal Councils **Organ/Service:**Montalegre Municipal Council **Employment Link:**Indefinite-term Contract for Public Functions (CTFP) **Regime:**General Careers **Career:**Senior Technician **Category:**Senior Technician **Complexity Level:**3 **Remuneration:**1499.15 **Monthly Supplement:**0.00 EUR **Job Description:**Functions corresponding to the functional description of the respective senior technical career (functional complexity level 3), as set forth in the Annex referred to in paragraph 2 of Article 88\.º of the Labour Framework for Public Employees (LTFP), as well as those inherent to the job position, according to competencies defined in the Organic Structure of the Municipality of Montalegre, including advisory, analytical, planning, programming, evaluation, and application of technical and/or scientific methods and processes that underpin and prepare decision-making, specifically: * Supporting farmers in applications as well as in agricultural and livestock farming areas; analyzing, clarifying, assisting, and processing all complaints, criticisms, and suggestions submitted by citizens regarding matters of interest to the municipality; * Preparing and managing applications and sources of community and national funding in the fields of agriculture, livestock farming, and the environment; * Planning activities for conservation in agricultural areas classified as World Agricultural Heritage (FAO); * Developing, implementing, and analyzing projects related to PEPAC2023\-2027, Portugal2030, among others; providing support in the relationship between municipal bodies and economic activities carried out within the territory or intended for establishment therein, supplying information derived from decisions made in the field of development projects, and supporting small and medium-sized agricultural and livestock producers under national and community programs and incentives; * Performing advisory functions and issuing agronomic and environmental assessment opinions; designing systems for protecting natural, agricultural, and forestry resources, as well as the municipal ecological structure; * Promoting urban biodiversity; * Planning and monitoring landscape-related projects and their periodic maintenance, forecasting necessary human and material resources; * Independently or collectively drafting opinions and projects of varying complexity and execution levels; * Independently or collectively developing irrigation network projects, including design and maintenance of irrigation networks; * Surveying and georeferencing green areas within the municipality, updating their surface areas, identifying tree species, and assessing their phytosanitary status; * Collecting information on investment intentions within the municipality, as well as identifying structuring projects initiated by other entities within the municipal territory, in coordination with other organic units; * Coordinating the implementation of agricultural and livestock economic development policies in collaboration with other municipal services; providing technical and logistical support, mediating contacts between economic agents and agricultural and livestock producers, and disseminating and processing information; * Conducting comprehensive or sector-specific studies and analyses—particularly concerning the municipality’s economic and social reality—with the aim of improving and promoting the protection of agriculture and livestock farming; * Promoting cooperation agreements with local partners, agricultural associations, and other entities; * Working in accordance with technical standards for safety, quality, productivity, hygiene, and environmental preservation; * Performing all other related or functionally connected activities for which the worker possesses appropriate professional qualifications and that do not entail professional devaluation. **Workplace** **Number of Positions** **Address** **Locality** **Postal Code** **District** **Municipality** Montalegre Municipal Council 1 Praça do Município, n.º 1 Montalegre 5470214 MONTALEGRE Vila Real Montalegre **Total Number of Positions:**1 **Quota for Persons with Disabilities:**0
