An agricultural company is currently recruiting an Agronomist for placement at its farms in Loulé and Faro.
The selected professional will perform the following tasks:
. Monitor pests and diseases in raspberry and other small fruit crops;
• Implement preventive control measures in accordance with good agricultural practices, maximizing yield per hectare;
• Implement climate management and environmental control of crops, following the guidelines of the immediate supervisor;
• Assess and manage the plant's water and nutritional requirements, following the guidelines of the immediate supervisor;
• Organize certain documents related to certifications.
PROFILE:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or Agricultural Sciences;
• Prior experience in the small fruits sector for a minimum period of 3 years;
• Strong sense of responsibility and autonomy;
• Good command of English and ability to work in a team within a multicultural environment;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (particularly Excel);
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal relationship abilities;
• Valid driver’s license and personal transportation;
• Residence in the region;
• Immediate availability.
