That combination creates an environment where ideas move faster, ownership is real and impact is visible. **YOUR ROLE** As a Mechanical \& automation engineer you will be fully responsible on developing the automated design solutions to support the various manufacturing plants across Europe and North Africa to increase the production process efficiency by developing automated solutions for VERSIGENT's internal projects, with a strong emphasis on designing advanced mechanical and automation equipment. You will be responsible for researching, designing, building, and maintaining complex systems and applications. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Liaise with internal clients to discuss their Mechanical, electrical/electronic automation needs; * Develop and design cutting\-edge mechanical components, systems, and automation solutions. * Utilize CAD software to create detailed models and engineering drawings. * Perform simulations and analysis to ensure designs meet innovative standards and specifications. * Conduct research to stay updated on the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and automation technologies. * Experiment with new materials, technologies, and processes to drive innovation. * Ensure projects align with innovation goals and are completed on time and within budget. * Conduct rigorous testing and validation of mechanical and automation systems to ensure functionality and performance. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues with innovative approaches. * Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction through innovative design and automation enhancements. * Monitor and evaluate improvements to ensure they meet efficiency and reliability standards. * Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to support ongoing operations. * Provide technical support and training to team members and other departments. **YOUR BACKGROUND** * From 1 year of experience as Mechanical Engineer (preferable) * Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD) and process simulation tools (e.g. FlexSim, Virtual Components). * Knowledge of robotic systems and integration. * Strong innovative thinking and problem\-solving skills. * Proficiency in control systems design and implementation. * Excellent project management and organizational skills. * Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with various stakeholders. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Familiarity with emerging technologies and industry trends. **QUALIFICATIONS** * Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field. * Portuguese and English Fluency * Availability to travel 30% of the time **WHY JOIN US?** * **Grow with purpose**.
