Set tables according to standards, tailored to event type and service requirements. Respond to guest inquiries regarding menu selection. Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, re-cook requests, and product availability. Relay additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary restrictions, and special requests to the kitchen. Record transactions in the Micros system at the time of order. Check with guests to confirm satisfaction after each food course and/or beverage. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, china, glassware, and other items throughout your shift. Complete closing duties such as restocking supplies and turning off lights. Present physical checks accurately to guests and process payments. Comply with all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management; and complete required safety training and certifications. Maintain a neat, professional uniform and personal appearance; safeguard confidential information; and protect company assets.
