As part of our operations, we are recruiting nurses for our **NephroCare Portalegre clinic.** **Join Fresenius Medical Care as a Nurse.** As a dialysis nurse, you will support patients through essential treatments, ensuring safety, precision, and empathy. You will work closely with a dedicated healthcare team in a specialized environment focused on high-quality, patient-centered care. If you believe your contribution can add value, please submit your application. **Your responsibilities:** * Monitor, assess, and follow up on patients throughout their treatment and stay at the clinic. * Perform vascular access puncture, blood sampling, medication administration, dialysis treatment, and other clinical procedures related to your scope of practice. * Prepare and conduct treatments using dialysis monitors and other technical equipment, ensuring proper functioning, hygiene, and safety according to established standards. * Accurately record treatment data and adhere to medical prescriptions and internal protocols. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinic teams, support patient health education and literacy, and assist in onboarding new colleagues. * Perform other specialized technical and administrative tasks related to the role, aligned with the company’s current best clinical practices in patient care. **What we offer:** * **Work-life balance:** Clinics are closed on Sundays, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day; daily closing time is 24:00 (except for clinics offering nocturnal long-hour dialysis). * **Salary and Financial Incentives:** * Annual Base Salary between €21,350 and €27,300 * Meal allowance: €2,509.54 annually * Annual bonus equivalent to one month’s salary (paid pro-rata over 12 months, based on attendance). * Location allowance: €1,800 annually. * "Refer a Colleague" bonus of €1,500 per successfully hired nurse (employed under an employment contract) recommended by our employees and retained by the company for a pre-defined period. * **Attractive benefits:** * Health insurance. * Life insurance. * Birthday leave (if it falls on a regular working day). * Additional vacation days based on seniority and attendance, up to a maximum of 2 days (as stipulated in the applicable Collective Labor Agreement). * Employee Assistance Program (international program offering free legal, financial, and mental health support for employees and their immediate family members). * Free access to the “goFLUENT Language Academy” platform for language courses. * **Professional development:** Continuous training and career progression.
