Shape database design and performance for a growing AI platform We build an AI movement analysis platform that extracts real performance data from smartphone video in real time. Our dataset spans 82,000 users across 190 countries, trained on real\-world conditions, not labs. We are launching three product tracks in August 2026 and need a back\-end engineer who can hold infrastructure together under real delivery pressure. What you will own: · The shared back\-end infrastructure supporting our mobile app (B2C), our B2B solution, and the AI/ML layer · Database design and performance as we scale across product tracks · Authentication, API architecture, and the connections between front end, back end, and ML systems · Reliability and maintainability: you will be one of two back\-end engineers, so your work has direct impact What we are looking for: · 3–6 years back\-end experience, with at least 2 years on mobile app back ends · Strong foundations in API design, database modelling, and authentication · Experience working alongside ML/AI teams · Someone who communicates clearly, flags blockers early, and takes ownership Nice to have: · Experience with sports tech, health tech, or real\-time data applications · Startup experience: you know what it means to ship under pressure What we offer: · Direct impact: you will be close to product decisions, not buried in documents · A technical team that uses modern tooling (Claude, Cursor, and our own AI layer) · Hybrid setup in Braga with flexibility · Competitive salary for the right profile · Possibility of stock options as we grow Stack: to be confirmed during the process.
