Collaborative and supportive team environment **Role Overview** We are seeking an experienced **Power Platform Functional Consultant** to join our team and support the design, implementation, and optimisation of Microsoft Power Platform solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to translate business requirements into scalable solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and related Microsoft technologies. This role is open to both permanent employees and independent contractors based in Portugal or Bulgaria. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead business requirements gathering workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions. * Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation. * Design functional solutions leveraging Microsoft Power Platform. * Create and maintain functional specifications, user stories, process maps, and solution documentation. * Work closely with technical consultants and developers to ensure successful solution delivery. * Configure and support: * Power Apps (Canvas and Model\-Driven Apps) * Power Automate * Microsoft Dataverse * Power BI * Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support end\-user training activities. * Provide guidance on Power Platform best practices, governance, security, and licensing considerations. * Support deployment activities and post\-go\-live enhancements. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams in an Agile delivery environment. **Required Skills \& Experience** * 3\+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant working with Microsoft Power Platform. * Strong understanding of: * Power Apps * Power Automate * Dataverse * Power BI * Experience gathering and documenting business requirements. * Ability to translate business needs into functional solution designs. * Experience conducting workshops and managing stakeholder relationships. * Understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem and integration capabilities. * Knowledge of Power Platform governance, security roles, and environment management. * Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies. * Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken). **Preferred Experience** * Experience with: * Dynamics 365 applications * Copilot Studio * AI Builder * Azure services integration * SharePoint Online * Microsoft Power Platform certifications, such as: * Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate * Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate * Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert **Candidate Profile** * Strong consulting mindset with excellent stakeholder management skills. * Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities. * Comfortable working in international and distributed teams. * Proactive, solution\-oriented, and customer\-focused. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities. **Nice to Have** * Experience working with clients across multiple industries. * Previous consulting or professional services background. * Experience delivering enterprise\-scale Power Platform programmes. * Portuguese or Bulgarian language skills are advantageous but not essential. **What We Offer** * Opportunity to work on enterprise\-scale Microsoft transformation programmes. * Flexible engagement model (permanent or contract). * International project exposure. * Collaborative and supportive team environment. * Competitive compensation package based on experience and location.
