Opportunity for professional development and career progression **CNC OPERATOR \| ALUMINUM COMPOSITE MATERIAL (ACM)** **Location: Vila Nova de Gaia** We are recruiting a **CNC Machine Operator** to join our team at a **growing metalworking company**, specializing in the transformation and manufacturing of solutions using **aluminum composite material (ACM)**. We seek a responsible, meticulous professional with proven experience operating CNC machines, who enjoys technical challenges and is capable of working autonomously, contributing to the quality and efficiency of our production processes. **Main Responsibilities** * Operate and program CNC machines dedicated to **cutting, milling, and processing aluminum composite material**; * Prepare, configure, and adjust the machine according to technical drawings and production specifications; * Interpret **technical drawings, measurements, and dimensions**; * Prepare and execute cutting, milling, countersinking, and panel preparation tasks for aluminum composite material; * Perform preparation and optimization of production files; * Correctly select and mount tools, parameters, and materials; * Control dimensions and surface finish of produced parts, ensuring compliance with defined quality standards; * Identify and correct possible deviations or issues during the production process; * Ensure proper use and basic maintenance of the machine and tools; * Comply with **workplace safety, organization, and hygiene standards**; * Collaborate with the team to improve and optimize production processes. **Requirements** * Proven experience as a **CNC Operator**, preferably in aluminum composite material (ACM) processing; * Experience with CNC cutting and/or milling machines; * Knowledge of **AutoCAD**, and preferably CNC preparation/programming software; * Ability to **read and interpret technical drawings**; * Knowledge of measurements, tolerances, and metrology; * Experience in preparing, fine-tuning, and operating CNC machines; * Ability to work with precision and attention to detail; * Sense of responsibility, organization, and autonomy; * Ability to work in a team and meet production targets and deadlines; * Willingness to learn and develop professionally. **Also Valued:** * Specific experience with **ACM/Alucobond or other composite materials**; * Knowledge of CNC/CAD\-CAM programming; * Experience in manufacturing facades, cladding, signage, or structures using aluminum composite material; * Knowledge of basic CNC machine maintenance and fine-tuning. **We Offer** * Integration into an **experienced, dynamic, and growing team**; * Professional work environment focused on quality; * **Competitive salary commensurate with role and demonstrated experience**; * Opportunities for training and skill development; * **Opportunity for professional development and career progression**; * Participation in diverse and challenging technical projects.
