Your work will be 100% on-site and hands-on, blending solution design with precise execution. You are the guarantor that when our clients’ networks and solutions face adverse conditions, operator outages, or traffic surges, the infrastructure remains fully operational. You ensure that “Making It Happen” is inevitable at the critical moment. Your core responsibilities: MikroTik Network Architecture: Design, configure, and administer routers, switches, and firewalls running RouterOS. Security and Hardening: Configure advanced firewalls, filtering rules (Filter, NAT, Mangle), and encrypted VPN tunnels (IPsec, WireGuard, OpenVPN) for secure interconnection of branch offices. Traffic Management and Performance: Implement efficient QoS (Queues) policies, network segmentation (VLANs, Trunking), and performance optimization. High Availability: Configure redundancy and transparent failover strategies (Check Gateway, Netwatch) for primary and backup links. Mobile Communications (Reference): Configure and optimize connectivity and backup solutions integrating LTE/5G mobile technologies into MikroTik hardware (Chateau, LtAP series, etc.). Automation and Scripting: Develop native RouterOS scripts to automate daily tasks and monitoring alerts. Who We’re Looking For: RouterOS Specialist: Someone with solid expertise in the MikroTik ecosystem (preferably RouterOS v7). Comprehensive Technical Knowledge: Practical experience in switching, firewalls, corporate VPNs and QoS, plus familiarity with modules and 4G/5G mobile communications. Obsession with Technical Detail: For you, “details matter” is a mantra. You analyze MTU, hardware offloading, and traffic isolation with millimeter precision. Logical Reasoning Under Pressure: When a critical network fluctuates, you don’t panic. You activate Plan B and rely on metrics and diagnostic tools (e.g., Torch or Packet Sniffer) to isolate the issue.
