Develop BIM models and virtual simulations to detect clashes Job Description Job Title: Casais Construction \| Pre-Construction Technician \| Comporta (m/f/d) Publication Start Date: 24/07/26 Job Description: **Mission** ---------- Ensure the definition and implementation of production techniques used in the design, development, and preparation of production elements for the Casais Group, in accordance with the Group's defined quality standards and norms, and acting in line with the Group's ethics and Casais values. **Main Responsibilities** -------------------------------- 1\) Prepare and draft support plans for the project and construction using computer-aided design software, in accordance with the project and the executed topographic survey; 2\) ) Identify potential architectural, structural, and specialty clashes at interfaces between project elements and distribute drawings to the respective site management team, ensuring understanding, providing technical support, and clarifying any doubts; 3\) Monitor construction progress, verifying compliance with technical specifications and performing necessary revisions; supply requested drawing elements to various departments by conducting checks, updates, and corrections to the project dossier; maintain documentary control of described components, incorporate changes, and organize drawings according to different project phases; 4\) Digitize and classify project documents in the digital process management system (Procore or other), and train the construction team on its use; 5\) Prepare supporting documentation for the Site Management Office to compile tender dossiers for subcontracting; 6\) Develop BIM models—of parts of the project or the entire project—as appropriate, including rendering and virtual simulations, to ensure clash detection and enhance on-site communication; 7\) Participate in developing the strategic execution plan and the strategic operational plan; 8\) Monitor and inspect Quality and Safety processes, ensuring adherence to the Quality, Environment, and Safety Management System principles and procedures. **Requirements** -------------- * Experience: 3 to 5 years * English - Intermediate * Geographic availability to work in the Comporta / Sines area **Education** ------------ * Technical, vocational, or higher education in Drawing, Preparation, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
