**THE PORTUGUESE DENTAL ASSOCIATION (OMD) is seeking an Event and Logistics Support Technician** to join our team at our headquarters in Porto.
**Job Description**:
* Support in the preparation, execution, and logistical follow-up of OMD events (congresses, Expodentária, Oath of Honor Ceremony, World Oral Health Day, among others);
* Contacting suppliers, collecting quotations, and assisting in monitoring approved budgets;
* Performing administrative tasks related to event organization (registrations, documentation, internal requests);
* Supporting communication with participants and sponsors (sending emails, confirmations, and managing information);
* Managing and maintaining organized records for each event on a document management platform (signed contracts, final budgets, etc.);
* Preparing and sending operational information and confirmations to suppliers, sponsors, and logistics teams;
* Supporting the management of external teams assigned to each event;
* Providing operational and logistical support by collaborating in data compilation, file organization, and preparation of pre- and post-event reports, ensuring process organization and *follow-up* for each event;
* Supporting the creation and improvement of processes, procedures, and tools to enhance service quality within the applicable quality management system and regulatory frameworks;
* Providing event-related support to other internal departments or areas—such as training, communications, human resources, or legal—as required.
Mandatory Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Event Management or a related field;
* Proven experience in supporting and executing operational/logistical activities for institutional/corporate events, and in managing trade fairs and exhibitions;
* Practical knowledge of operational event and fair logistics, and supplier negotiation;
* Proficiency in Portuguese and English—both spoken and written;
* High digital literacy and technological agility;
* Knowledge of and experience using artificial intelligence tools;
* Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI and other relevant IT tools (MS Office);
* Valid driver’s license;
* Availability for travel, including participation in trade fairs and/or events outside Porto, when required.
