Reporting to the Head of Data and AI, this role will play a key part in designing, building, and deploying data\-driven and AI\-powered solutions across the business. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, owning the full lifecycle of data and AI initiatives—from requirements gathering to delivery and continuous improvement of scalable data pipelines, machine learning models, and reporting solutions. **Main responsabilities:** * Gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions * Design and implement **AI and Machine Learning solutions** tailored to business needs * Build, maintain and optimize **data pipelines and ETL processes** * Develop scalable **data architectures** to support analytics and ML use cases * Deliver insights through **dashboards and reporting solutions** (Power BI) * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams and external partners on data initiatives * Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous delivery * Ensure **data quality, integrity, and compliance** with internal standards * Monitor and maintain deployed solutions, ensuring alignment with evolving business need **Core capabilities:** * Strong understanding of **Machine Learning concepts** and real\-world applications * Experience building **data pipelines and working in Big Data environments** * Knowledge of modern data architectures (Data Lake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse) * Strong analytical and problem\-solving mindset * Ability to work autonomously in complex environments * Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business insights * Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) * Familiarity with MLOps practices and/or LLM\-based solutions is a plus * Fluent in English (written and spoken) **Required qualifications** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field **Required experience** * At least **1 year of hands\-on experience in Big Data environments** * Proven experience designing **data pipelines and/or data architectures** * Strong knowledge of **Python and SQL** (PySpark or equivalent is a plus) * Experience working with **cloud platforms** (Azure preferred; AWS is a plus) * Familiarity with platforms such as **Databricks or Microsoft Fabric** * Understanding of **data governance, data quality, and security principles** **Tech stack** * **Data Platform:** Azure Fabric * **Programming:** Python, SQL, PySpark * **Cloud tools:** Azure DevOps, Azure Boards, Azure Data Factory, Blob Storage, Key Vault * **Reporting:** Power BI * **Other:** Git, Terraform **Culture and values** As the aviation sector is highly regulated, safety and compliance are the highest priority.
