As part of its expansion policy, VHM is currently recruiting a Mechanical Engineer (m/f) for Évora to join the Southern Region Supervision Department. Responsibilities: \- Construction Preparation \- analyze and verify design documents; develop and adapt the construction quality plan; review and approve the work plan, financial schedule, and resource mobilization schedule (human resources and equipment) \- Construction Coordination \- control drawing documents; manage work changes; handle clarification requests; approve materials and clarifications; approve subcontractors; monitor financial aspects of the project; supervise on-site planning; submit deadline extension requests; ensure quality control and proper execution of contracted works; maintain the official construction logbook; prepare reports \- Project Closure \- conduct provisional inspection and acceptance of the works; finalize contract settlement; prepare closure report; manage warranty periods and final acceptance of the works Requirements for the Role: \- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electromechanical Engineering \- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction supervision or site management of mechanical installation contracts and/or subcontracting \- Strong planning and organizational skills \- Goal- and deadline-oriented mindset \- Dynamic personality with excellent communication skills \- Teamwork orientation \- Immediate availability (preferred) If you join us, we offer: \- Integration into a business group with national and international presence \- Opportunity to participate in exciting projects \- Excellent career development prospects, including continuous professional training and growth opportunities \- Health insurance Want to join our team?
