We seek an Engineer with a multidisciplinary profile and solid technical knowledge to join a large-scale project in the petrochemical (Oil \& Gas) sector. You will bridge mechanical engineering with the development, specification, and control of instrumentation systems, acting both during the design and engineering phase and during on-site supervision. **Key Responsibilities and Functions*** **Instrument Specification and Engineering:** Definition and specification of control valves, safety valves, transmitters (pressure, flow, temperature, etc.), strictly considering process operating conditions and mechanical/thermal design. * **Network Design and Modeling:** Design of junction boxes, cable routing, instrument mounting brackets, and detailed installation drawings (routing and cabling). * **Control and Automation Systems:** Development of control loops, control diagrams, functional description of process control, and definition of synoptic logic for PLC / DCS (Distributed Control Systems). * **Technical Data Management:** Preparation and updating of instrument lists, signal lists, and material take-offs (MTO). * **Supervision and Interface:** Conducting supervision activities and technical visits to client facilities (Galp), coordinating on-site operational teams in mechanical engineering and instrumentation. ### **Requirements and Qualifications** * **Academic Qualification:** Technical or Degree-level Engineering (Electricity, Electronics, Electromechanics, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering with strong control orientation). * **Experience:** Minimum of **2** **years** of experience in Instrumentation and Control projects within the Oil and Gas (Oil \& Gas / Petrochemical) sector. * **Software and Tools Proficiency:** + Proficiency in **AutoCAD** and **MicroStation**. + Knowledge of **InTools / SPI** or **EPlan** (considered advantageous) * **Availability:** Full availability to work on-site in **Sines**.
