IRIS 3000 Videophone, a VoIP device capable of video calls, manufactured by UMEC for ACN Inc. IRIS 3000 Technology Type: SIP (Session Initiation Protocol)-based videophone. Display: 7-inch LCD. Camera: Integrated CMOS camera for video calls. System: Based on Freescale i.MX27 ARM board, running a customized Linux kernel. Connectivity: Requires broadband Internet (DSL, cable or fiber) with at least 256 Kbps upload speed. Does not work with dial-up. Supports G.729 and G.711 (audio) and H.263/H.264 (video) codecs. Additional features: Can function as a digital photo frame when idle (via USB or SD card). Connection for analog/digital telephone for whole-house use. Audio and video outputs (RCA) for display on TV or computer. Features such as video mail and video greetings between IRIS devices.
