Preparation and monitoring of budgets and payment requests The NERLEI CCI Job Board announces an opportunity for a Project Technician in the municipality of Leiria. The selected candidate will be responsible for the technical, administrative, financial, and accounting management of funded projects, from application preparation through to their respective closure, ensuring compliance with applicable national and EU regulations. **Responsibilities:** Prepare, submit, and monitor applications to funding programs, including Portugal 2030, the Recovery and Resilience Plan, and European programs; Ensure technical and financial monitoring of approved projects; Prepare and monitor budgets, financial statements, and payment requests; Carry out monthly accounting closures for projects; Ensure correct cost allocation and perform financial reconciliations; Validate expense eligibility in accordance with applicable regulations; Coordinate with the Accounting Department to ensure consistency between financial execution and accounting records; Prepare information and documentation for audits and administrative verifications; Support member companies in strategic alignment and financial structuring of investment projects; Draft technical and financial reports; Ensure adherence to deadlines and reporting obligations toward managing authorities and intermediate bodies; Monitor budgetary execution and project closure for funded projects. **Required Profile:** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; Experience in financial management of funded projects (preferred); Solid knowledge of general and analytical accounting; Experience in monthly accounting closures and financial reconciliations (valued); Ability to analyze financial statements and control reports; Advanced proficiency in Excel; Experience using ERP systems; Experience with electronic incentive management platforms (valued); High technical rigor and attention to detail; Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills; Sense of responsibility and autonomy; Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; Good communication and cross-departmental coordination skills; Proactivity and results orientation. **Application:** Send your updated CV by email, indicating in the subject line: Project Technician Only candidates meeting the required criteria will be contacted.
