Job Summary: We are seeking a professional with a PhD in Biostatistics or a related field and R&D experience to develop and apply advanced statistical methods in precision aquaculture and support decision-making. Decision support and optimization of aquaculture production What we seek in candidates: * Academic qualification at PhD level in Biostatistics, Applied Statistics, Data Science, or a related field; * Experience in R&D projects, preferably linked to industry or aquaculture, or involving analysis and interpretation of complex biological and environmental data; * Knowledge of advanced statistical modeling of biological systems and environmental variables; * Expertise in developing predictive models and decision-support tools for production management; * Knowledge of uncertainty and risk assessment in aquaculture systems; * Knowledge of operations research (mathematical programming and simulation); * Ability to apply statistical interpretation to real-world production contexts; * Competencies in data analysis and evidence-based decision-making; * Knowledge of project management and innovation; * Knowledge of digital transformation in industry; * Knowledge of production planning and control; * Language proficiency, particularly English; * Scientific and technical autonomy; * High degree of rigor and critical analysis; * Strong analytical capacity, systemic thinking, and ability to solve complex problems; * Effective communication; * Collaborative work in multidisciplinary teams; * Emotional resilience and capability; * Results- and impact-oriented mindset.
