We are looking for two **Mid\-Level Backend Developers (TypeScript, Java, or C\#)** to join an international project, working remotely from Portugal. **What you will be doing:** As a Backend Developer, you will play a key role at the intersection of software engineering and artificial intelligence, contributing directly to the advancement of next\-generation AI systems. · **Advance the AI Frontier:** Directly contribute to the training of state\-of\-the\-art Large Language Models (LLMs) by generating high\-quality, production\-grade code samples in Motoko, an underrepresented programming language. · **Contribute to Model Training**: Support and enhance AI training pipelines through Supervised Fine\-Tuning (SFT), Direct Preference Optimization (DPO), and Reinforcement Learning (RL) by providing expert\-level engineering input and data. · **Shape a Programming Language**: Leverage your backend experience to provide critical feedback that helps validate and improve core paradigms within the Motoko programming language and its standard data structure libraries. · **Bridge Engineering and AI**: Act as a subject\-matter expert, ensuring that both synthetic and human\-generated training data reflect best\-in\-class engineering standards, architectural soundness, and real\-world applicability. **Requirements:** * **Engineering Depth**: Mid\-level experience in backend development with a strong command of Object\-Oriented (OO) design patterns. * **Computer Science Fundamentals**: Solid understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms — not just how to use them, but how to optimize solutions based on specific constraints. * **Language Expertise**: Proficiency in at least one of the following backend languages: Java, C\#, or TypeScript. * **Architectural Fluency**: Strong understanding of domain\-cutting architectural paradigms, particularly: Domain\-Driven Design (DDD) **Work Regime**: 100% remote **from Portugal** (the candidate can work remotely from any Portuguese region) **What we offer:** * 26 days of vacation * 50€ birthday bonus * health insurance * Training * Opportunity to develop your career Take the Leap, Join Us!
