At Infraestruturas de Portugal, we are looking for a Road Pavement Design Engineer to join a specialized team and participate in the development and supervision of road projects, intervening across all project phases—from design through execution. **Your Challenge** In this role, you will have the opportunity to: * Supervise and review road pavement projects developed by external entities; * Issue specialized technical opinions regarding road pavement design; * Develop pavement design projects in coordination with other disciplines involved in road projects; * Provide technical consultancy in pavement engineering, supporting both the design and execution phases of construction contracts. **The Profile We Seek** * Higher education degree in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering; * Professional experience in developing pavement design projects; * General knowledge of road design and applicable specifications for pavement design; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office; * Familiarity with technical software such as BISAR, ELSYM5, ALIZE or similar, as well as CAD/GIS tools—namely AutoCAD and QGIS (preferred); * Knowledge of pavement materials, pavement structural design, and design and evaluation methodologies (preferred); * Active registration with the Order of Engineers or the Order of Technical Engineers, or willingness to complete the respective registration process; * Valid driver’s license; * English language proficiency; * Immediate availability (preferred). **What You’ll Find at IP** * Employment opportunities under indefinite-term or fixed-term contracts; * Participation in high-relevance infrastructure and transport projects with significant impact on national mobility; * Opportunity to work in a technically specialized, multidisciplinary environment; * Continuous training and professional skills development; * Collaborative working environment; * Social benefits currently in force at the company; * IP transportation facilities via Alcântara\-Mar, Alcântara\-Terra, and/or Pragal stations. * Join a team that designs, supervises, and develops essential infrastructure for mobility in Portugal.
