Join multidisciplinary engineering and research teams We are recruiting \| Biomedical Engineer or Bioengineer We are looking for a **Biomedical Engineer or Bioengineer** to join our team and participate in the development of **innovative technological solutions applied to healthcare**. We seek a multidisciplinary profile with a solid scientific and technological foundation, capable of understanding healthcare sector needs and contributing to their transformation into **technically robust, safe, and contextually appropriate solutions, products, and systems**. The role will have a strong **Research & Development (R&D)** component, including product development and validation, data analysis, technical documentation, and oversight of requirements associated with healthcare technologies and devices. Main Responsibilities * Participate in **Research & Development (R&D)** projects in healthcare; * Contribute to the development of new **products, systems, and technological solutions**; * Identify and analyze users' technical and functional needs; * Translate clinical and operational needs into **technical and functional requirements**; * Participate in defining product specifications; * Support the development, prototyping, and evolution of new solutions; * Develop and execute **test, verification, and validation protocols**; * Evaluate performance, safety, reliability, and usability of developed solutions; * Perform data acquisition, processing, analysis, and interpretation; * Participate in laboratory and experimental testing; * Analyze results and identify improvement opportunities; * Support **risk management processes** associated with healthcare product development; * Participate in preparation and maintenance of technical documentation; * Support activities related to **quality and regulatory compliance**; * Monitor applicable technical and regulatory requirements for healthcare devices and technologies; * Participate in usability and human factors analysis; * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineering, product development, research, and quality; * Support various phases of the development lifecycle, from initial concept through solution validation. Desired Profile * **Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering**, or equivalent scientific/technological field; * Interest in **technology, engineering, and innovation applied to healthcare**; * Ability to understand technical problems and clinical context needs; * Ability to transform needs and requirements into structured solutions; * Solid knowledge of scientific and experimental methods; * Ability to analyze and interpret data; * Critical thinking and structured problem-solving approach; * Ability to research and analyze scientific and technical information; * Strong documentation skills; * Organization, autonomy, and attention to detail; * Strong communication skills; * Ability to integrate into **multidisciplinary teams**. Quality and Regulation Academic or professional knowledge related to the following will be particularly valued: * **European Medical Device Regulation (MDR – EU 2017/745\)**; * **ISO 13485** – Quality Management Systems for Medical Devices; * **ISO 14971** – Risk Management for Medical Devices; * **Verification & Validation (V&V)** processes; * Requirement management and traceability; * Usability and human factors evaluation; * Technical documentation for medical devices. Professional experience across all these areas is not required. Academic training, university projects, or introductory knowledge in these subjects will also be considered.
