Our products are more affordable and more sustainable than their dairy equivalents. **We Are Hiring:** Automation Engineer Junior **Location:** Santa Iria de Azoia **About the Role** We are looking for a Junior Automation Engineer to join our team at the Santa Iria de Azoia factory! Your mission will be to support the automation department, ensuring efficient system integration and contributing to the optimization of production processes. **Key Responsibilities:** Support the development, testing, and commissioning of automation projects. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and industrial process optimization. Diagnose and resolve faults in electrical and automation systems. Interpret and update electrical schematics and technical documentation. Collaborate with the maintenance team to maximize equipment availability. **What We Are Looking For:** Technical course in Automation or Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Knowledge of PLC programming (FBD, Ladder, IL). Experience with Siemens tools (TIA Portal); knowledge of Schneider tools is an advantage. Familiarity with HMI (Siemens, Schneider, Proface) and SCADA (WinCC, Citec). Understanding of industrial networks (Profinet, Profibus, Modbus TCP/IP) and ASI protocols. Proficiency in Office applications, SQL, and basic knowledge of instrumentation and pneumatics.
