Manage team, finances, and inventory to maximize profitability. **Job Summary** We are looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant in Estoril. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, driving sales, managing restaurant operations, leading the team, and maintaining the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and operational excellence. **Key Responsibilities** Restaurant Operations * Manage the day\-to\-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service. * Supervise floor operations during peak hours and maintain excellent guest experience. * Monitor table turnover and optimize seating capacity. * Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and service are maintained at all times. Team Management * Recruit, train, coach, and supervise front\-of\-house (FOH) and back\-of\-house (BOH) staff. * Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance. * Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews. * Foster a positive, motivated, and customer\-focused work environment. Customer Experience \& Sales * Deliver exceptional customer service and promptly resolve guest concerns. * Build relationships with regular and VIP guests. * Train staff on suggestive selling and upselling techniques to increase average order value and overall sales. * Ensure every guest receives a memorable dining experience. Sales \& Marketing * Identify business opportunities and recommend marketing initiatives to increase restaurant footfall and revenue. * Work closely with the marketing team on local promotions, social media campaigns, influencer collaborations, and community events. * Develop strategies to attract both local residents and international tourists. Financial Management * Monitor daily sales, expenses, and operational costs. * Prepare and analyze revenue reports and key performance indicators (KPIs). * Manage budgets and implement cost\-control measures to maximize profitability. * Reduce food and operational wastage while maintaining service quality. Inventory \& Vendor Management * Oversee inventory levels for food, beverages, and restaurant supplies. * Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely procurement. * Negotiate with vendors to achieve competitive pricing and maintain quality standards. * Minimize stock loss and wastage through effective inventory management. Compliance \& Quality * Ensure compliance with all local health, safety, hygiene, and HACCP regulations. * Maintain restaurant cleanliness and safety standards. * Ensure all licenses, certifications, and statutory requirements remain valid and up to date. Requirements \& Qualifications * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Restaurant Manager or similar leadership role within a full\-service, premium, or fine\-dining restaurant. * Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills. * Proven ability to drive restaurant sales and improve profitability. * Experience in staff recruitment, training, and performance management. * Excellent customer service and conflict\-resolution abilities. * Strong understanding of restaurant operations, food cost control, inventory management, and budgeting. * Proficiency in restaurant POS systems (such as Micros, TouchBistro, or similar), reservation platforms (TheFork, OpenTable), and scheduling software. * Good knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and hospitality regulations.
