What You’ll Do As the Events Manager at Mona Verde, you will lead the planning, sales, coordination, and execution of exceptional corporate and private events that reflect the venue’s unique identity, culinary excellence, and cultural atmosphere. You will play a key role in growing Mona Verde’s events business by attracting new clients, building strong partnerships, and delivering seamless experiences from initial inquiry through post\-event evaluation. This role combines sales, client relationship management, operations coordination, and on\-site event leadership to ensure every event meets the highest standards of hospitality and execution. All responsibilities share one goal: creating memorable, high\-quality events that drive revenue growth, strengthen client relationships, and elevate the Mona Verde experience. Your Main ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development \& Client Acquisition * Proactively seek out and attract new clients for Mona Verde, positioning the venue as a premier destination for corporate, cultural, and private events. * Develop and execute a client acquisition strategy to consistently grow and fill the events calendar. * Build partnerships with corporate clients, event planners, agencies, local organizations, and community groups. * Identify new business opportunities and industry trends to expand and strengthen Mona Verde’s event offerings. Client Relations \& Event Planning * Build strong relationships with both new and returning clients, ensuring a high level of professionalism and personalized service. * Guide clients through the event planning process, presenting Mona Verde’s ambiance, culinary offerings, and cultural programming. * Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the operations team, ensuring clear communication of all event goals, requirements, and expectations. * Coordinate event timelines, logistics, special requests, and operational details to ensure seamless execution. Operations Coordination \& Service Execution * Work closely with the Restaurant Manager and Executive Chef to align event expectations with operational capabilities. * Coordinate menu customization, service flow, staffing needs, and venue setup for each event. * Oversee event logistics and execution, ensuring all details reflect the high standards of the Mona Verde experience. * Provide on\-site event support when needed, managing last\-minute adjustments and ensuring smooth service delivery. Budgeting, Sales \& Financial Performance * Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and resource alignment. * Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and partners while securing favorable terms and maintaining compliance. * Track and report all event\-related expenses and revenue performance. * Achieve agreed\-upon sales targets and event revenue objectives aligned with Mona Verde’s strategic vision. * Monitor performance against KPIs, proactively identifying opportunities for growth and improvement. Team Leadership \& Collaboration * Lead and coordinate the event production and support teams to ensure efficient and high\-quality event execution. * Delegate responsibilities effectively while maintaining clear communication and accountability. * Train and mentor team members, fostering professional growth and service excellence. * Support a collaborative, positive, and solutions\-oriented working environment across departments. Reporting, Analysis \& Continuous Improvement * Maintain accurate event sales tracking and client acquisition metrics. * Develop and manage sales and performance dashboards for leadership review. * Conduct post\-event evaluations to assess operational performance, client satisfaction, and overall event success. * Prepare detailed post\-event reports with strategic insights, strengths, and opportunities for optimization and future growth. What We’re Looking For * Proven experience in event management, hospitality, sales, or client relationship management. * Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Experience coordinating with operational teams in a fast\-paced hospitality environment. * Strong commercial mindset with the ability to drive sales and meet revenue targets. * Ability to remain calm, proactive, and solution\-oriented under pressure. * Leadership skills with experience managing teams and coordinating event execution. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. * Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during major events as required. * Passion for hospitality, culture, food, and creating memorable experiences.
