Job Summary: We are seeking a Software Engineer to develop and evolve the Agapone app in Flutter on Supabase, with direct responsibility for quality, performance, and user experience. We are hiring a Software Engineer to build and evolve the Agapone app in Flutter backed by Supabase, with direct responsibility for quality, performance, and user experience. Learn more about the product at https://agapone.com/ **Responsibilities** * Develop end-to-end features in Flutter (Dart), from UI to backend integration. * Integrate with Supabase (Postgres, RLS, Edge Functions, Realtime) and external services. * Write testable, readable, and well-structured code, and participate in code reviews. * Optimize performance, crash-free rate, app startup time, and data/battery consumption. * Collaborate with product and design teams to transform specifications into polished experiences. * Instrument observability (logs, metrics, analytics) and diagnose production issues. * Participate in the release cycle (Google Play / App Store), delivering short and frequent releases. **Qualifications and Experience** * 3+ years of mobile development experience, with solid expertise in Flutter/Dart. * Proficiency in state management, clean architecture, and integration with REST/Realtime APIs. * Strong foundation in automated testing (unit, widget, integration) and CI/CD pipelines. * Experience publishing and maintaining apps in production. * Autonomy to deliver full-cycle solutions and make sound technical decisions. * Attention to quality, detail, and user experience. * Fluent in Portuguese or English. **Technical Skills** * Flutter/Dart and its ecosystem of packages. * Backend-as-a-Service (ideally Supabase/Firebase) and Postgres. * REST, Realtime, authentication, and state synchronization. * Automated testing and CI/CD pipelines. * AI tools to accelerate development and debugging. **Nice-to-Haves** * Experience with Supabase, PostGIS, or geolocation. * Animations, motion, and micro-interactions in Flutter. * Product sense and strong UX sensitivity. * Open-source contributions or personal projects. * Interest in psychology, relationships, or wellbeing. **Conditions** * Contract type: Full-time * Location: Remote (preference for candidates based in Europe) * Salary range: €40,000 – €70,000 per year, adjusted according to experience and proven results * Fully remote work in Europe, with flexible, results-oriented hours. * Performance-indexed variable compensation. * Equity opportunity depending on seniority and impact. * Direct and visible impact on the product, without layers of bureaucracy. * Premium access to Agapone and our tool stack.
