Committed to innovation and sustainability, we drive the global energy transition. **Job Description:** We are looking for an experienced and proactive Site Manager with a strong electrical background to supervise the construction and commissioning of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project integrated into a photovoltaic park in Portugal. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to a cutting-edge project in the renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of battery systems and photovoltaic projects, with proven experience in construction management and team coordination. The ability to perform electrical and BESS commissioning is critical, given the technical nature of this role. **Key Responsibilities:** * Manage and supervise all on-site project activities, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards. * Coordinate and lead construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. ‍‍ * Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations on site. * Plan and execute commissioning of electrical and battery systems, ensuring their proper operation and performance. * Monitor construction progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective corrective actions. * Manage on-site logistics for materials and equipment. * Collaborate closely with engineering and project management teams to resolve technical and operational issues. * Ensure smooth communication with all stakeholders, including clients, local authorities, and internal teams. * Prepare detailed progress reports and maintain up-to-date project documentation. **Essential Requirements:** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. * Minimum of 2 years of proven professional experience in construction management, preferably in renewable energy projects. * **Mandatory prior experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and photovoltaic projects.** * **Solid electrical technical profile**, with the ability to commission electrical equipment and systems. * **Prior experience with projects carried out in Portugal or in-depth knowledge of Portuguese technical and regulatory standards.** * Leadership skills, team management capabilities, and excellent communication skills. * Proactivity, problem-solving ability, and critical thinking. * Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project) is a plus. * Fluency in Portuguese (spoken and written). * Availability to work in Portugal. **What We Offer:** * Integration into a growing company with strong market presence in the renewable energy sector. * Opportunity to work on innovative and challenging projects. * Competitive salary package commensurate with demonstrated experience. * Dynamic and collaborative work environment.
