**We are looking for:** Front Office Manager (M/F)
As Front Office Manager, you will lead all front desk, concierge, and porter operations, ensuring outstanding guest service and the correct administrative and financial functioning of the department. This is a highly operational role requiring active on-site presence, quick decision-making ability, and strong organizational skills in managing processes, controls, and reporting.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Lead, develop, and supervise the Front Office team;
* Ensure service quality for check-in, check-out, and guest assistance;
* Manage complaints and service recovery situations;
* Ensure daily coordination with Housekeeping, Maintenance, F&B, and Reservations departments;
* Supervise billing, city tax, deposits, nightly audit, and cash closing procedures;
* Monitor operational, financial, and guest satisfaction KPIs;
* Control staffing schedules, costs, and overtime hours for the department;
* Recruit, train, and evaluate team performance.
**Ideal Candidate Profile:**
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Front Office supervisory or assistant managerial role within 4- or 5-star hotels;
* Strong guest orientation and leadership capability;
* Experience simultaneously managing operations and administrative tasks;
* Proficiency in hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and solid Excel knowledge;
* Fluency in Portuguese and English (French or Spanish are advantageous);
* Higher education degree in Hotel Management, Tourism, or related field.
* Availability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
* Experience in properties offering apartments or extended-stay accommodations.
