What drives us passionately at Telpark is talent. **OBJECTIVE** Empark is seeking an IT technician based in Lisbon who will be responsible for managing the IT infrastructure and communications platform in Portugal. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** The ideal candidate must have proven experience implementing and administering Cisco and HP routing and switching technologies, Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, and Meraki wireless networks. Conduct network requirement analyses and contribute to network architecture design. Knowledge of public networks, APNs, and dynamic routing. Maintain hardware and software, including servers, network routers and switches, user desktops and laptops, peripherals, and cabling. Schedule computer operations, replace backup tapes, monitor network storage and storage permissions. Maintain and improve the server environment. Provide Service Desk support to users. Support Mobility users (Empark’s enforcement platform). Support PDAs used by ORA center controllers in Portugal. Support incidents related to the daily operations of ORA centers in Portugal. Manage and coordinate, jointly with the On-Street team in Madrid, requests for corrective and evolutionary developments. **COMPETENCIES** * Teamwork * Project management * Proactivity and adaptability to change * Problem solving * Results orientation **CERTIFICATIONS** * CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate – Routing & Switching) or CCIE. * MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) or MCSE. **EDUCATION AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE** We are seeking a telecommunications professional or computer engineer with extensive experience in networking (primarily Cisco, HP, and Fortinet), data center management, and Service Desk support. Proven experience in: * Installation, maintenance, and implementation of virtualization environments (Hyper-V and VMware). * Management of NAS and SAN storage. * Management of Windows Fail-Over Clusters. * Antivirus solutions (Kaspersky preferred). * Management of Windows Server 2012–2016 environments. * Implementation and management of backup systems. * Solid knowledge of Active Directory and IIS. * Basic skills to query MySQL databases. * Basic knowledge of Android OS. * Languages: Fluent Spanish desirable and/or advanced English. * 5 years of proven experience.
