Collaborate with L3 architects and other teams **Apply to one of our open positions or send us a spontaneous application to careers@nearshoreportugal.com** **Description** In this role, you will be responsible for the day\-to\-day operations, maintenance, and stability of the Active Directory environment, ensuring reliability and compliance with governance defined by L3 architects. You will handle operational execution across Tier 0 infrastructure, resolve incidents, and ensure seamless identity services across the organization. **Requirements** * Strong experience in **Active Directory Administration** * Solid understanding of user, group, and computer object lifecycle management * Hands\-on experience with **ADUC, ADAC, DNS tools, GPMC, and PowerShell** * Good understanding of authentication protocols (**Kerberos, LDAP, NTLM**) * Experience with Domain Controller operations (monitoring, updates, logs, replication checks) * Experience with GPO operations (creation, modification, troubleshooting) * Understanding of hybrid identity environments (Entra ID Connect) * Strong operational discipline and ability to follow procedures precisely * Clear communication skills and ability to work under pressure **Responsibilities** * Execute daily Active Directory operations, including object lifecycle management (users, groups, computers) * Maintain group memberships and enforce naming conventions and structure * Perform standard changes via ITSM tools and apply L3\-validated policies and procedures * Manage GPO operations (create, modify, link, validate, troubleshoot) * Operate Tier 0 servers (Domain Controllers, PKI, DNS, AD Connect) following L3 guidelines * Monitor server health, perform updates, manage backups and restore operations * Resolve incidents related to authentication, replication (basic), DNS, GPOs, and AD Connect synchronization * Perform root cause analysis and escalate complex issues to L3 when required * Ensure compliance with governance, security policies, and Tier 0 access rules * Maintain runbooks, documentation, and incident tracking * Collaborate with L3 architects, cybersecurity, infrastructure, network, IAM, and workplace teams **Nice to have** * Experience in large enterprise Active Directory environments * Exposure to identity governance tools (e.g., Okta, Entra ID, Usercube) * Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management frameworks * Continuous improvement mindset and experience contributing to operational optimization Excited?
