Job Summary: We are seeking a Pedagogical Director to coordinate and provide pedagogical guidance for Pre-School and the 1st Cycle, supporting the team and promoting children's development. Pedagogical leadership and active contribution to the educational project Our educational institution in Odivelas, offering Pre-School and 1st Cycle services, is looking to strengthen its team with a part-time Pedagogical Director to assume pedagogical coordination and guidance responsibilities. Main Responsibilities: Ensure pedagogical coordination and guidance for Pre-School and the 1st Cycle; Support and mentor teaching and non-teaching staff on pedagogical matters; Promote articulation and collaborative work among team members; Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of pedagogical activities; Ensure compliance with applicable guidelines and regulations governing the educational institution; Monitor children's progress and development in collaboration with teachers and families; Foster close, trusting relationships with families; Participate in defining and implementing pedagogical improvement projects and strategies; Carry out all other duties inherent to the role of Pedagogical Director. Required Profile: We seek a professional who possesses: Appropriate higher education qualification for this role; Relevant professional experience in education, preferably in Pre-School and/or the 1st Cycle; Experience or interest in team coordination and leadership; Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; Autonomy, sense of responsibility, and decision-making ability; Enthusiasm for teamwork and for working closely with children, families, and professionals; Alignment with a child-centered pedagogical approach focused on children's development and well-being.
