We’re a lively and well\-established backpackers hostel in Faro, and we’re looking for a new receptionist to join our international team! If you’re friendly, energetic, love meeting people from around the world, and enjoy the hostel vibe, we’d love to hear from you. This is a hands\-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll be welcoming travellers, helping guests feel at home, sharing local tips, and keeping the good vibes flowing throughout the hostel. Your tasks will include: * Checking guests in and out * Processing payments and reservations * Helping with laundry and daily hostel operations * Supervising common areas and maintaining a safe, social atmosphere * Assisting with cleanliness and tidiness around the hostel * Creating a warm and welcoming experience for all guests You’ll be working as part of a fun, supportive, and international team in the heart of the Algarve. Who we’re looking for: * Friendly, outgoing, and responsible personality * Positive attitude and willingness to learn * Comfortable working in a fast\-paced social environment * Customer service experience in hostels or hotels is a plus * English level B1 or higher * Portuguese level B1 or higher * Tourism or hospitality studies are a bonus Previous hostel experience is great, but not essential.
