Two Antique Massarelos Ceramic Plates

Description

Two antique Massarelos plates in used condition. Typical ceramic pieces from the region, featuring characteristic design and finish. Massarelos plates with Beira motif, manufactured at the Massarelos factory, bearing the Beira motif and vegetal decoration printed on the rim. Features golden fillets along the rim edge and at the boundary of the base. Manufactured between 1873 and 1878, more specifically from 09/08/1873 to 01/01/1878, under the management of Sa Lima & Irmão.
