Job Summary: Perform operational tasks at the production unit, including waste sorting and handling, ensuring productivity, efficiency, quality, environmental compliance, and safety. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manually and mechanically sort waste 2. Perform quality control and material handling 3. Operate fixed equipment and carry out daily maintenance **Sorting Operator \- CTA** **Mission** * Perform tasks inherent to the production unit operation, in accordance with superior instructions and applicable regulations, to ensure unit productivity and efficiency while complying with established quality, environmental, and safety requirements. **Responsibilities** * Sort waste manually and using equipment * Conduct quality control of materials * Handle waste and materials required for facility operations * Load and transport waste, scrap, and other materials related to the activity * Assist in vehicle unloading operations * Baling materials resulting from sorting * Operate various fixed equipment installed at the facility * Prepare all materials and reagents required for the production process * Carry out daily maintenance and inspection operations on equipment, in accordance with defined maintenance and inspection plans for each piece of equipment * Clean facilities, walkways, gutters, wastewater tanks, and other drainage systems, as well as mobile machinery and fixed equipment * Load transporter vehicles with various types of bales * Report any equipment malfunctions detected during operation to supervisors * Report equipment failures identified within the unit * Ensure proper maintenance and preservation of the facility **Competencies** * 9th grade education or equivalent * Category B driving license (mandatory) * Heavy vehicle driving license (preferred) * Machinery operation experience (preferred) * Manual dexterity * Persistence * Organization * Determination * Good interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a team
