Integration into a dynamic team and an environment of excellence **About Us:** Praia do Sal Resort 4\* The StayUpon Hospitality Group, operating two 4\* hotels in Alcochete, is looking for a Maintenance Technician responsible for ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance across hotel facilities, guaranteeing efficient operation of all systems and contributing to a high-quality guest experience. Key Responsibilities • General Maintenance: Perform repairs in areas such as plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, painting, and masonry, ensuring prompt resolution of faults. • Preventive Maintenance: Carry out inspection routines and preventive maintenance on equipment, systems, and infrastructure (e.g., HVAC, boilers, elevators). • Operational Support: Assist other teams with tasks involving assembly, disassembly, or reorganization of equipment and furniture. • Emergency Management: Respond promptly to urgent incidents, such as power outages, water supply issues, or technical emergencies. • Vendor Collaboration: Supervise external technicians during specialized interventions, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations. • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with occupational health and safety regulations, as well as internal hotel policies. • Reporting and Documentation: Record completed interventions and report additional maintenance needs to direct supervisors. Requirements • Prior experience in maintenance roles, preferably within hotels or similar establishments. • Basic knowledge or certifications in electricity, plumbing, and HVAC. • Ability to independently and efficiently resolve technical problems. • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure. • Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays. • Team-oriented mindset and customer satisfaction focus.
