If you are ready to take on a new challenge and make a real impact, then we want to hear from you! **Responsibilities** * Development of mechanical systems that may include advanced composites or other material technologies, tooling design, rapid prototype components * Produce 3D models of individual components, assemblies, tooling for moulding, assembly, trimming and bonding jigs \& fixtures and other ancillaries * Creation and support of 2D drawings and specification documentation * Responsible for generation of product and assembly documentation * Provide technical expertise in problem resolution, cost reduction and quality improvement * Support Design Team in product design and development activities, continually improving the modelling and analysis techniques * Develop process improvements and standard work practices for operational efficiency * Provide support to manufacturing if required **Qualifications and Experience** * Expert CAD designer, with minimum 5 years of experience in surfacing and solid modelling * High level of proficiency in CATIA V5 / 3DEXPERIENCE workbenches: Part Design, GSD, Assembly Design, 3D FT\+A and Drafting * Knowledge of manufacturing technologies used in production of metallic, plastic, advanced composite parts and rapid prototyping * Good understanding of GD\&T * Self\-reliant.
