Job Summary: We are seeking a Product Development Manager to lead the Product Development Department, managing the team and executing projects from concept design through to industrialization. Opportunities for professional development and career progression We are looking for a Product Development Manager to assume leadership of our Product Development Department, manage and develop the team, and ensure project execution from initial concept through to industrialization and production launch. Required Profile: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, Industrial Design, Product Development, or related fields; * Experience in product development or engineering, project management, and leadership of technical teams, preferably in an industrial environment; * Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, metal structures, prototyping, industrialization, and product validation; * Proficiency in 3D drawing and modeling tools, preferably SolidWorks, and ability to interpret and validate technical documentation; * Ability to organize the department, define priorities, assign tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously; * Excellent leadership, communication, planning, organizational, and decision-making skills; * Critical thinking, creativity, proactivity, and strong problem-solving orientation; * High sense of responsibility, rigor, professional ethics, and ability to collaborate across departments; * Strong knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and ability to apply these tools in product and process development and optimization. Main Responsibilities: * Lead and organize the Product Development Department, defining priorities, assigning tasks, and monitoring team performance; * Lead, guide, and develop team members, promoting autonomy, accountability, and professional growth; * Manage new product development from concept definition through to industrialization and production launch; * Plan and monitor projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, technical requirements, and defined objectives; * Guide and validate technical work, evaluating the productive, technical, and economic feasibility of developed solutions; * Coordinate prototype construction, testing, and validation, as well as product certification and compliance processes; * Ensure smooth product handover to Production, providing all necessary documentation and technical conditions; * Identify and resolve bottlenecks, promoting innovation, continuous improvement, and optimization of products, processes, and working methods; * Monitor emerging technologies, materials, and trends relevant to the company’s product development; * Define and track performance indicators, and report to senior management on project progress, resource needs, and departmental results.
