World made by many. **The Role:** We are seeking a **Multiskilled Maintenance Technician** responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on the hotel’s facilities, equipment, and infrastructure, ensuring optimal functionality across operational and technical areas—with autonomy, technical rigor, and alignment with the Viceroy at Ombria Algarve’s luxury hospitality standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across various disciplines, including electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, metalwork, and others * Diagnose faults and propose appropriate technical solutions * Ensure correct usage, maintenance, and preservation of tools and equipment * Respond promptly to breakdowns or technical emergencies, minimizing operational impact * Support implementation of preventive maintenance plans * Record and report completed interventions, material consumption, and future requirements * Assist in coordinating and supporting external service providers * Comply with and enforce occupational health, safety, and hygiene (OHS) regulations * Collaborate with other departments to ensure operational continuity and quality **Requirements:** * Prior experience in general maintenance roles, preferably within hospitality, tourism, or large-scale buildings * Technical knowledge across multiple maintenance disciplines relevant to the hospitality industry * Ability to independently diagnose and resolve faults with responsibility and sound judgment * Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required * Team spirit, proactivity, and attention to detail—aligned with luxury hospitality standards **What We Offer:** * Integration into a unique luxury project in the Algarve * Competitive compensation commensurate with role and experience * Continuous training and development plan * Meals at the hotel and uniform (applicable to this role) * Internal benefits, including preferential rates for resort services and partner offerings, per current policy * Opportunities for internal progression and mobility **Application:** Please send your CV to recruitment.ombria@viceroy.com, with the subject line “Multiskilled Maintenance Technician”. **Equal Opportunity:** We promote diversity and inclusion.
