You will be responsible to:: The IT Site Manager is responsible for the delivery, support, and operational performance of IT services across the Sete Casas manufacturing plant and the Lumiar Head Office locations. The role acts as the primary IT partner for site leadership, ensuring that technology services are reliable, secure, compliant, and aligned to business priorities. Working as part of the Digital Infrastructure \& Operations organisation, the IT Site Manager ensures that global platforms, standards, and services are implemented effectively within local environments, while representing site needs and operational constraints back to global teams. The role coordinates internal teams, managed service providers, vendors, and specialist Digital functions to deliver consistent service outcomes and support manufacturing, R\&D, and corporate operations. * **Site IT Leadership \& Business Partnership** * Act as the primary IT representative for the manufacturing site and Head Office location. * Build strong relationships with site leadership, manufacturing, quality, R\&D, engineering, and corporate functions to understand business priorities and technology needs. * Ensure IT services support site operations effectively, balancing global standards with local operational requirements. * Represent site needs in global Infrastructure \& Operations planning, demand management, and project prioritisation processes in coordination with the Global Sites Lead. * Provide clear communication to site stakeholders regarding IT service performance, planned changes, incidents, and improvement initiatives. * **Service Delivery \& Operations** * Own day\-to\-day IT service delivery and operational performance across the assigned sites. * Coordinate local support activities, ensuring incidents, service requests, and escalations are handled effectively and in line with agreed service levels. * Work with the Service Desk, Global Infrastructure \& Operations teams, managed service providers, and local support resources to ensure reliable and responsive support. * Act as the local escalation point for service issues, operational risks, and user experience concerns. * Monitor service performance, identify recurring issues, and drive continuous improvement in collaboration with global teams and service providers. * **Manufacturing, Laboratory \& R\&D Support** * Ensure IT services support manufacturing, laboratory, and R\&D environments in a reliable, secure, and compliant manner. * Coordinate with Lab Systems, Quality, Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Infrastructure teams where site technologies intersect with validated systems, laboratory workstations, instrumentation, or OT\-adjacent environments. * Support local execution of technology changes that may impact manufacturing, laboratory, or R\&D operations. * Ensure appropriate planning, communication, and risk assessment for IT activities affecting operational or regulated environments. * **Project, Change \& Local Execution** * Coordinate local delivery of global IT initiatives, infrastructure projects, site upgrades, and technology deployments. * Support project planning, resource coordination, site readiness, and stakeholder engagement for technology changes. * Ensure approved changes are executed locally in line with global standards, change management processes, and site requirements. * Support site expansion, refurbishment, equipment moves, infrastructure lifecycle activities, and business\-led initiatives requiring IT involvement. * **Standards, Security \& Compliance** * Ensure global IT standards, cybersecurity requirements, and infrastructure controls are implemented effectively within the site environment. * Support audit, inspection, CAPA, and remediation activities related to IT infrastructure and site services. * Work with Cybersecurity and Compliance teams to support risk reduction, control implementation, and evidence gathering. * Promote adherence to data integrity, security, and regulatory expectations applicable to manufacturing, R\&D, and laboratory environments. * **Vendor \& Managed Service Coordination** * Coordinate day\-to\-day activities of managed service providers, vendors, and third parties delivering IT services at site level. * Ensure vendors and service providers follow site procedures, security requirements, and agreed ways of working. * Provide feedback on vendor performance and service quality to global service owners and SIAM / vendor management teams. * Support local scheduling, access coordination, and execution of vendor\-led activities. We are looking to recruit a Candidate:: * **Mandatory:** Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. * **Desired:** ITIL or equivalent IT service management certification. * **Desired:** Certification or training in infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, cloud, manufacturing IT, or laboratory IT environments. * **Mandatory:** Relevant experience (typically 7\+ years) in IT Infrastructure \& Operations, IT service delivery, site IT leadership, or technical operations roles. * **Mandatory:** Experience supporting business\-critical environments such as manufacturing, laboratory, R\&D, or regulated site operations. * **Mandatory:** Experience coordinating incidents, service requests, changes, escalations, vendors, and local technology delivery. * **Mandatory:** Proven ability to partner with business stakeholders and translate site needs into IT priorities. * **Desired:** Experience working with global or central IT teams to implement standards, services, and projects locally. * **Desired:** Experience in a global, matrixed, or federated IT organisation. * **Desired:** Experience coordinating managed service providers or outsourced support teams. * **Desired:** Exposure to IT/OT, laboratory systems, validated systems, audits, inspections, CAPAs, or compliance remediation. * **Desired:** Experience supporting infrastructure projects, site upgrades, relocations, equipment moves, purchasing, goods receipt, asset tracking, or local IT financial processes. **Hovione is a proud Equal Opportunity Employer** Inclusion and diversity are key to us.
