Job Summary: A multinational packaging company is seeking a Die and Cutting Tool Fitter for die and cutting tool maintenance and general support at its Alcochete factory. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensures maintenance and proper functioning of dies and cutting tools 2. Manages workshop tools and utensils 3. Supports general maintenance activities We are a multinational packaging manufacturer and are looking for a Die and Cutting Tool Fitter for our Alcochete factory to join our Maintenance team. This person will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and subsequent proper functioning of dies and cutting tools to prevent unexpected downtime. Key duties include: * Ensuring maintenance and optimal operational condition of dies and cutting tools used in the production process; * Managing workshop tools and utensils, including their storage, preservation, cleaning, and maintenance; * Assisting external technicians in performing their duties; * Reporting workplace incidents or accidents; * Informing the supervisor of the need to acquire spare parts or materials so that the procurement process can be initiated; * Performing inspections and checks specified in the machinery and equipment maintenance and preservation procedure; * Supporting general maintenance activities; * Complying with the 5S policy; * Complying with and enforcing safety and environmental rules as implemented by the company; * Complying with and enforcing quality, EHS, and food safety system procedures and work instructions; * Participating in workplace incident or accident investigations.
