Job Summary: We are seeking an Automation Technician with a background in Electrical Engineering to program, test, and provide technical support for automation equipment and systems. We are currently recruiting an Automation Technician to join an industrial company located in Leiria, specializing in the development and construction of customized industrial machinery and solutions. We seek a professional with a degree in Electrical Engineering, experience in industrial automation, and enthusiasm for a dynamic role that combines programming, workshop activities, and on-site technical intervention with clients. Main Responsibilities * Program and configure automation equipment and systems; * Ensure proper operation of equipment at the automation level; * Participate in the automation, testing, and commissioning of machinery and equipment; * Conduct functional tests and trials both in the workshop and at client sites; * Perform equipment start-up and ongoing support at client locations; * Carry out final inspections and record corresponding technical documentation; * Provide technical support to national and international clients; * Diagnose and assist in resolving malfunctions and technical issues; * Ensure compliance with internal quality and safety procedures. Main Requirements * Higher education degree in Electrical Engineering or directly related field; * Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in industrial automation or similar roles; * Knowledge of industrial automation programming and systems; * Experience in machinery or industrial equipment manufacturing companies is valued; * Strong communication and interpersonal skills; * Ability to work effectively in teams and under pressure; * Sense of responsibility, autonomy, and problem-solving capability; * Fluent Portuguese; * Willingness to travel nationally and internationally, primarily to Spain.
