Development of competencies in equipment sizing and selection About the Position Arcofil, an installer of industrial and commercial refrigeration systems located in Amadora (Lisbon), seeks to strengthen its technical team with a junior profile eager to take the first steps in the field of refrigeration and HVAC. Responsibilities • Technical support in refrigeration and HVAC projects • Sizing of installations and calculation of thermal loads • Selection of main components and equipment • Budgeting and preparation of technical proposals • Use of AutoCAD • Selection of hydraulic equipment and cold rooms • Direct contact with suppliers and clients • On-site technical team support in problem resolution Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field • Interest in refrigeration and technical installations • Ability to learn, work autonomously, and solve problems • Strong communication skills with clients and suppliers • Knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred) • Fluency in Portuguese and good knowledge of English Conditions • Salary between €1,200 and €1,900 gross/month, depending on candidate’s experience and profile.
