The **HV Power Lines Engineer** will join the **T\&D Substations team** within the **Generation and Networks Unit**, focusing on the design and calculation of overhead and underground high\-voltage power lines. Key Responsabilities: * Preliminary design and routing of HV/MV power lines. * Design and calculation of overhead and underground HV/MV power lines. * Define electrical and structural criteria for overhead and underground lines, including section, thermal, mechanical, and protection calculations. * Prepare technical documentation: route drawings, layouts, calculation reports, and environmental and civil impact studies. * Preparation of drawings and technical documents required to process grid access and connection applications to the transmission and distribution network. * Review of HV/MV line engineering. * Drafting and review of terms of reference and technical specifications. * Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. * At least 3 years of experience in the design and calculation of HV/MV power lines, both overhead and underground. * Knowledge of Spanish electrical regulations is a plus. * Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D and experience with power line calculation software (PLS‑CADD, PLS‑TOWER, IMEDEXA, CYMCAD). * Working knowledge of BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks) and GIS software (QGIS, GvSIG). * Experience with electrical network modeling and simulation tools (e.g. DigSilent, ETAP, CAPE) and knowledge of utility standards and HV line design criteria is a plus. * Fluent in Portuguese \& English; Spanish is a plus. * Strong technical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously in multidisciplinary environments. * Good organizational and prioritization skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality.
