Headquartered in Montijo, SAM'S is a leading company in the fenestration industry, recognized for innovation, quality, and excellence in the design, production, and installation of aluminum and PVC solutions for high-technical-demand engineering projects.
As part of our growth and enhancement of production capacity, we seek to integrate a **Machine Programmer**, who will play an essential role in programming, optimizing, and monitoring Schirmer machines responsible for cutting and machining fenestration profiles.
This role will directly impact production process efficiency, ensuring high levels of precision, quality, and productivity, as well as continuous improvement of methods and solutions implemented at SAM'S.
**Main Responsibilities**
* Program cutting and machining operations using Preference software;
* Create, manage, and transfer programs to Schirmer CNC machines;
* Develop, adjust, and optimize geometries and manufacturing processes;
* Interpret technical drawings and provide technical support during production startup, fine-tuning, and monitoring;
* Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to optimize production processes;
* Identify opportunities to improve productivity, production times, operational efficiency, and waste reduction;
* Ensure compliance with company-defined quality, safety, and productivity standards.
**Required Profile**
* Technical education in Industrial Production, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related fields (preferred);
* Professional experience in CNC machine programming and operation;
* Knowledge of Preference software, Schirmer machines, and CAD/CAM tools (advantageous);
* Familiarity with fenestration systems, particularly Technal, Schüco, SAPA, and Cortizo;
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings;
* Knowledge of aluminum profile cutting and machining processes;
* Strong sense of responsibility, rigor, and quality orientation;
* Organizational, planning, and priority management skills;
* Team spirit, autonomy, and problem-solving ability;
* Proactivity, adaptability, and willingness for professional growth.
