The project has an initial scheduled duration of 9 months, with a strong likelihood of extension; Midland Steel also executes similar projects in other European countries, offering the possibility of continued professional engagement beyond Sines. JOB DESCRIPTION * Site setting out and surveying control, including verification of levels, alignments, and structural positioning * Review of drawings and technical specifications prior to execution * Supervision and inspection of steel reinforcement prior to concrete pouring * Control and validation of formwork – watertightness, leveling, and joint preparation * Monitoring of concrete pouring operations, including slump control, compaction, and concrete curing * Technical coordination with site supervisors and frontline teams * Maintenance of daily site logs, test reports, and preparation of as-built drawings * Ensuring compliance with project-defined quality, safety, and schedule standards REQUIRED PROFILE * Degree in Civil Engineering or Surveying * Preferred experience in steel reinforcement (rebar/steel), formwork, and concrete works * Experience in setting out / surveying implementation, including use of total stations and GNSS * Experience in data center or similar industrial facility projects is a strong advantage * English language proficiency (mandatory) * Right to work in Portugal (mandatory) * Willingness to work on-site in Sines * Availability for immediate start WHAT WE OFFER * Integration into a large-scale, high-visibility project within the industry * A genuine opportunity for progression and consolidation into a senior role * Possibility of continued professional engagement in other Midland Steel European projects following completion of work in Sines * Competitive remuneration, commensurate with experience and qualifications APPLICATIONS Interested candidates should submit their updated CV, indicating: 1.
